Great Show! My 3rd in St. Louis over the past 10 years. Each one a blockbuster...
Kanye felt like a different genre that U2, but as Bono said he supports diversity in music, leading, not following and Kanye's originality. So its hard to critizize. I do not think Kanye deserved the boobirds. As others posted it was hard to hear what Kanye was saying, so maybe the venue did not suit his style...
Back to U2 - they rocked the Gateway city! Memorable moments were the young boy brought on stage chanting "No More!" with Bono. The selfish girl that Bono pulled up onto stage. The genuine, stagestruck piano man. The moralistic messages and calls to action for human rights. And of course the AWESOME show!!!
It was a powerful affair; a soulful almost religious experience that left us craving more...
