As Elevation began to play I wondered why some of the seats were empty. This is my 5th show this leg, and 9th this tour. And this was the first time I have not seen a show sold out. I have to admit I was disappointed.
But, you know what? That did not matter. The Savis Center is a great venue for a concert. First off the sound is wonderful, and secondly the GA fans were very vocal and full of energy. Typical setlist followed suit. A couple of surprises, like Bono mentioning Shirley Manson name during Beautiful Day. Bringing two fans on stage for Knocking on Heaven's Door. During Bad Bono sang 2 verses of Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses. At the end of I Still Haven't Found What I Am Looking For, Bono did a little verse of Get Up Stand Up by Bob Marley. And lastly Bono sang almost all of Peace on Earth for the intro of Walk On.
Overall, this was a great concert. Bono sounded great, and the fans that attended the show were full of energy and treated to a great gig.
