I have had the most amazing U2 experience ever! It is very difficult to put everything in words. It started with nosebleed seats to the Columbus show back in May. From there my obsession climbed when I won tickets to see the Earls Court show in London from a local radio station. I never thought anything would top that until I went to the Savvis Center in St. Louis.
Three of my friends and I camped out in the rain and sleet for our first chance to get into the heart. The GA line was fantastic! Crazy fans and free hot chocolate made the day go by much faster! It was worth frozen toes and wet clothes for what we experienced when we finally made into the Savvis Center.
We were front row on Adam's side!! I could not believe how close we were! The show was absolutely amazing, I was so excited to hear Please and Angel of Harlem, and BAD!!! It was incredible, undescribable.
At the end of Pride, everyone's going crazy and Adam walks over directly in front of me, he leans over and I stretch my arm out, he grabbed my hand it put his pick in it that he'd been using the entire show!!! Everyone around me was going insane. I touched ADAM!! I have a guitar pick from the greatest band in the world! Amazing.
I am so so grateful for my experience and the chance to share it with my friends. U2 has moved and elevated me in ways I will never forget.
Thank you U2 and thank you St. Louis!!
