I was a student at the time and had no money but my working mate bought me a ticket that cost £60. To be honest if I had know how good it was going to be and if I had had the cash i would have payed £1000. It was probably the best night I had every had barring the the dutch lesbians incident. When Bono put the scotland goals on the big screen just before even better than the real thing the place went mental because a lot of people did not know that scotland had actually beat russia, and i lost my mate's where abouts. But it wasn't about football it was about U2 at the best possible point in there career. When the edge stroled down the catwalk playing the intor to bad i must have been crying like a baby. That was also the beginning of bono taking girls out the audience. It was truly amazing. 11/10. On leaving the concert I heard my mate singing where the streets have no name as we walked back down the side of the clyde.
Last nights gig at hampdem park was only a 1/10.(22/0605). You can read my review on it if you can bothered. I'll be trying to forget that one.
