U2 finally return to San Diego after a 12 year absence. An absolutely AMAZING show last night! Showcasing my favorite U2 album, " The Joshua Tree". The band was on fire and the sellout crowd was really into the show. I had the good fortune to see this tour 3 times, ( Rose Bowl May 20, and Phoenix September 19). Both times I was on the side of the stage, last night I was straight back, facing the stage and my God what a difference when viewing the 200 foot screen, their amazing Antoine Corbijn shot images and close ups of the band. All in all I terrfific evening, its so much more special when they play your hometown! I have seen this band 17 times now since 1987, and it's always a treat. Thanks U2 for showcasing this great 30 year old album! It was a night I will never forget!!!
