Just about six months since the tickets went on sale, the anticipation was great, and not one of the bands failed to deliver. However Kelis should be done away with.

Relish got the ball rolling well, JJ72 were absolutly great, I can see why Bono is amongst the greats that have reaped praise on them. Mark, the lead singer has a wierd but great voice. The less said about Kelis the better, I took this moment to have a well deserved rest. Coldplay came on, they're set seemed to be a bit short but was great. Refference was made to Sunday Bloody Sunday from Under a blood...... when introducing ' Yellow'. The Chillies were great, and were well up for the occasion.

U2 came on at about 8.30, Kicked in with the usual set Elevation, BD, UTEOTW, Ney years day etc. I dont have a great reference here, but from seeing the videos that U2 have released, It seemed the crowd got behind u2 more than ever, atleast it felt that way to me.

Without motoring on about things that have already been written about, The things that stood out for me, being u2's greatest fan(This is probably in my eyes only) was The Intro, BD, Kite at which Bono thanked god for taking his father away from the pain and suffering he was in(very emotional for everyone involved, Lighters were a blaze), Sunday..... just because of the power of this song. A good acoustic version of Staring at the sun ala POP mart, just bono and the Edge at the tip of the heart. Mysterious ways sounded better than I could have imagined, Bono invited a girl up on stage and she seemed to give him a run for his money with the bell dancing.

I could go on forever, other highlights included WOWY, Pride, Streets, Bad, Walk on (great) and One, pictures of bonos dad appeared on the four screens, the whole area was in darkness except for the amazingly bright screens, Very emotional!!! I could really just list the whole set list, if you are looking at this site you are obviously a fan and love all their music!!!!!!

A bit sadened at the lack of a couple of great songs, The Ground Beneath Her Feet( How I would have loved to hear that!!!!) NewYork, That song was written to be played Live, I heard it on the stuck in a.... single and the extra added bit at the end is amazing. Also missing was Stay and The fly which i was really looking forward to hearing live. I wouldn't be surprised if all these songs appeared next week.

But you cant have it all, and i was part of what is the greatest rock show ever seen, Red hot chilllies and then u2......... Wow!
