Unbelieveable night. We travelled from Toronto specifically for the gig and was totally blown away.. I saw them twice on the Zoo TV (in Tor.), 3 times on the Zooropa tour (one in New York, twice in Toronto) and twice on this tour (in May of this year in Tor.)... none came close to the Slane gig... between the emotion on stage that was obviously a result of Mr. Hewson's passing and the fact that they were playing the Mecca of large gigs in Ireland, Slane. And also the crowd.. fuckin' excellent crowd.

The energy the crowd displayed puts North American crowds to shame. The place was just on fire.. looks like they'll be playing Hamilton here in Ontario in October.. I'll be at that gig for sure but they'll have a real hard time matching the magic that was Slane 1....
