20th U2 show. Audience: One of the best ever. People were into this concert with singing, clapping, etc., especially on Elevation and Pride. My friends found Exit a surprising highlight. I had watched all the shows on Periscope. Live the effects of the lighting both stage and on the stadium were more impactful. Bono sang fine but in my opinion not as strong as he has been lately. Also it seemed the sound was not quite up to usual U2 standards, perhaps it was the mix, maybe speakers. Not sure. I had heard them from the same area of Soldier Field twice before. The Joshua Tree is a timeless masterpiece. I saw the 1987 version three times. I plan to see this one three more. Thanks to the band and crew for giving us a great performance of JT live in 2017.
