I decided to post this review after I saw that they dropped Breath as the opener. I was a little disappointed not only that they played it, but that they opened with it. Space Oddity and Kingdom were awesome; Breathe was kind of a little lame. It just didn't fit the mood. I had designated that song as a bathroom break song, a desgination I followed up on too. Personally, I thought the show was good. Not great. There were too many new songs that I could have done without, new album included. The radio stations were flooded with calls the following MOnday and the comments were the same: too many new songs. And let's be honest, this isn't the strongest U2 album. Vertigo, Beautiful Day, City of Blinding Lights, Stuck In a Moment...too much. As for the rest of the set list, which was predictable, it was pretty good although I can di without Pride and Sunday Bloody Sunday...and With or Without You. Unforgetable Fire, Ultraviolet Ways and Still Haven't Found were awesome, but I wished they would have played older songs, more from Zooropa, Pop, etc. Looking back on it, the shows they did at the United Center in 2005 were much better in my opinion. But it was a good show. Worth seeing 2 nights in a row at $120 a pop.....no thanks. I gave my Sunday night ticket away and am glad I did. When U2 comes back again, and I have no doubt that they won't, I will see them again. I just hope they tweak the set list a little.
