I'm not the biggest U2 fan but when I heard about "The Claw" and all the hoopla around it I had to see it for myself. This was my first U2 concert and don't know much of their music other than what I've heard on the radio over the years. Needless to say I was impressed, they played songs from their beginning to the present.
The weather couldn't have been better, but Florence and the machine could have (didn't care about them at all).
I also didn't care too much about the activists around the stadium trying to get me to sign this recall or that recall, nor Bono's political statements. If I want to hear nonsense liberal rhetoric I'll watch msnbc, I came to see a concert.
Overall, it was a great show. Well behaved crowd.
