This was the night my brother and I walked around with a cardboard sign that said, "U2/HELP!" in an effort to get tickets from scalpers, $60 x 2 later we succeeded; this was a good show though i remember being struck with the fact that beneath all the lights and screens lay four individuals, maybe it was the intimacy of an arena as compared to a stadium but they seemed all too human; i was a bit put off by the lowering of keys so Bono could have an easier time singing, plus Bono falsettoed the high notes on "Bad", things that hadn't occured in previous tours.
My poor brother missed most of the show as he was passed out in his seat from drinking all day, he was surprised to hear afterwards that the show's closer was "Love is Blindness"; I guess this was a 'darker' period than the JT tours and others which always ended w/the uplifting "40".
