This was my first U2 concert (more than 25 years ago!) and I remember it like it was yesterday. It took place in the old Cologne Sporthalle,a place where bycicle races were common, but not a band from Irland rocking the house. It was huge - Bono was young and simply awesome. They played for more than 2 hours and ended with 40... with the song practicaly never ending. It kept on being sung by the fans while leaving the arenad for some half an hour or so... great feeling!
I still gets chills when remebering that concert - and it defenitely wasn't the last time I some them in Cologne. the band and the city formed some special relationsship (with the fans) that lasts until today!
