Tonight's show was slightly stronger and more aggressive than the first night, but not without a major misstep - the inclusion of Mysterious Ways. No need for that song, boys... especially in an abbreviated form.
Short story - I met Willie Williams on the street today, very early morning - he seemed tired. I was aghast! I could';t believe I was running into this genius (it helped I knew what hotel they are all staying at).
Anyway - I met the master and God of Light, Willie Williams (is his name William Williams? - what silly parents he must have!). I asked him what his favorite show opener was and it took him all of .2 seconds to respond with Elevation on te Elevation Tour 2001. He said he once dreamed of the band opening up the tour with Always Forever Now (I remember him saying this in an interview), but Larry told him he hated the idea.
Anyway - tonight's show was superb. Unknown Caller, Unforgettable, Ultra-violet were all top notch classic.
