My first U2 concert experience. It was a hot day for Italy with, like all European shows--general admission, but after waiting against the rail for what seemed like an eternity, they put on an incredible show. Bono's voice was poor, at best, but there is no other live band that can eminate that kind of energy. After Nearly 14 years, 9 shows--including 3 POP shows--I still love them.
Even though I had listed to their albums since '83, this show in May of '87 made me a believer. I look forward to the new tour.
