After 8 years Me and 4 really great friends of mine travelled to Cracow again for a week - this year we had a good reason! We had been planning this trip since 2003 but this year we had a really serious reason...!
Oh my God!!!
This show was the crown of our staying in Poland of course!!! I was very sad when U2 chose Katowice instead of my hometown Budapest, but now I know and understand this is the way everything had to happen!!!
The Chorzow/Katowice concert must have been one of the best of the 2005 U2 stadium tour!!!
This band, this holy polish crowd COULD NOT HAVE BEEN better believe me! It was endless pleasure what the band and Chorzow people got!
I saw U2 3 days earlier in Vienna - stood inside the ring on Adam's side. I enjoyed that too, but the Chorzow show was LOT more better, really unforgettable...At first Bono & co looked more passionate and surprised how fucking brilliant and loud 65,000 people can be!
The white-red flag action looked even more beautiful than all the vision during the night!
It was so great that I finally could see The Edge Master closer than ever!
We were waving the only huge irish flag inside the ring and we were rewarded with Edge's smile multiple times!!! But it was also fantastic when Bono mentionned that he could see some irish flags and pointed at us...yeahhh :-)
The crowd was really crazy, kind and fine at the same time! (austrian and german people were a little bit agressive and rude - I am sorry)
I LOVE YOU POLAND!
See you in Katowice again in 2006 supporting Depeche Mode!
