So, I tried to write a review after seeing the show last night, and I just couldn't do it. I didn't have the vocabulary to describe it. And I still don't. But I'm writing this only for U2's greatest fan, who didn't go with me last night, who needs a bit of that magic that only those boys can bring. The show was better than any one I have ever been to. The boys were all right on with their performances. The energy between them was electrifying, and you could feel it all throughout that arena. And when my personal dream come true happened to someone else- I couldn't be jealous or mad. It was beyond anythng I've ever felt when Bono pulled those girls up on stage and they grabbed their instruments and fricken rocked that place so hard. Who does that? Who pulls complete unknowns from a crowd and gives them the stage, trusting that they will continue the energy and the flawlwess relationship with the crowd?? No one does that. That's why U2 is beyond words. They are beyond comprehension and description. I thank God for the pure emotion they send through my veins... its life. Its what gets me going and keeps me going.
