It's 12:41am and I just got home from the concert. I mean, the best U2 concert I have ever been to! This was my seventh U2 show and it was by far the best. The seats we had were amazing: Sect. 119 Row 3. We were 10 feet away from the elipse...amazing. Absolutely amazing! FYI, Cindy Crawford was seated right in front of me!
I was one of the few to be on the roof of MTV studios on TRL back on 10/30/2000 when U2 were promoting ATYCLB. There U2 was playing 7 feet away from me and I got to meet Bono. But tonight, this time it was better for some reason. It was probably because of the seats, the setlist(Bad as a closer: Surreal!), and Bono's voice in great shape(Sometimes You Can't Make It On Your Own had Bono singing perfectly and beautifully, right in front of us too, by the way.
Overall, great performance by the band. City of Blinding Lights is probably the best opener for a U2 tour since 'Streets'.
Thanks again for a great time, U2! Goodnight!!
