U2's first show in the Czech Republic was the best U2 concert I have ever seen. It was a celebration from the first 'till the last second. U2 were in great shape, but more than 80.000!!! crazy young fans made it to be one of the best shows on the tour. The band, especially Bono, often were overwhelmed by the cheering crowd, and Bono jumped around like a happy young boy.
The set list (the same as ever) was excellent and very powerful and you nearly didn't get a chance to relax. This time they played a wonderful and longer version of All I want is you. Maybe I think for those die hard fans who travel to many concerts the set could need sometimes a change.
The big screen isn't by far as good as you can read it in the press. The people who are standing between the big and small stage barely take a look on the screen, because the pictures are too unsharpen. Only the people in the last rows have a good vision. But the sound is great. A big sound system under the arch and towers in the last rows proof that the bad sound from some Zooropa shows belongs to the past.
After all this concert was one of this "a dream come true" shows which you will remember your whole life and the Irish boys showed again that they are simply even better than the real thing.
