I went to both of the Sun Devil shows. I think at the last one, one of the crew had just been informed that his baby had been born just earlier. I seem to remember the crew member being brought on stage and champagne being opened...I also remember Christmas songs...this ushered in a very special holiday in the Desert Southwest...it got bitter cold right after this show and Tucson(about 100 miles South of Tempe) had a white Christmas. 1987 was one of the best years of my life! I would give anything to have live that year over and over. 15 years old, no worries, best friends on the planet and my hometown (Dublin...I originally hail from Dun Laoghaire)hereoes opening and closing one of best tours of all time in my state...I would relive it in a heartbeat!
