Of the five times I've seen U2 in concert (four times in Arizona and once in Sweden)I have to say that this concert was the best musically and the most entertaining.
Being on the floor on this particular tour meant you could make your way to the extension stage where U2 would eventually play a set of songs acoustically. Having made it to the very front of this stage I had a unique perspective of watching Bono and Edge start to play an Elvis tune completely out of sync and then stop while Bono showed the Edge the cords he wanted him to play. They resumed to play their version of "Suspisious Minds". Another great moment was the Edge taking over lead vocals on the last part of "Stand By Me" while Bono made his way back stage for the intermission.
I also remember Bono mentioning that he thought it was only the second time they had ever performed live "She's a Mystery", the song written for Roy Orbison.
On this tour Bono would always choose a girl from the front of the extension stage to dance with during "Love is Blindness". On this night Bono chose a girl that was standing next to me. When the dance was over I remember the security guys lowering her off the stage and she stood there with her hands covering her mouth in disbelief, shaking. It was quite interesting to watch all of this up close. Overall it was my favorite tour and concert.
