The big day arrived May 1st, after countless hours of watching Zoo TV, and Rattle and Hum and reading at the end of the world, etc. I was going to see my heroes, i had to make sure they were real people.
I live in Racine WI a 6 hour drive and I'm there, at 1 p.m waiting at the venue for a personal encounter, i later found out the band didn't arrive until P.J harvey already started.
I was in heaven for two hours, with crappy seats (behind stage) it was still the best two hours of my life, i was holding back tears during one, and hand to pinch myself throughout the show. I have four more shows on this tour and hopefully many more for many more tours. long live the kings, thank you U2.
