The Target Center concert rocked! It was my first U2 show although I have been a fan since I saw U2 Live At Red Rocks on Nickelodean back in 1984.
Anyway, I've noticed a few posts on the events from the Mysterious Ways Bono GC visit.
I have the photos and would like to attach if anyone could help me, let me know. What happened is that Bono was 'walking the heart' so I thought I'd go down to the railing to get some closer photos.
When I looked down to wind up my disposable camera and looked up - THERE HE WAS!! As you can imagine, I was thrilled, held my camera up and did one of those 'take a picture of yourself and your friend' things! I then told myself screw the photos, this is Bono right in front of me! So I put my arm around his back to help hold him up (not choking or harming him at all). It was then that I noticed him fighting with a gentleman a couple rows back and to my left. Bono was pointing and yelling then went down and came back up and pointed and yelled some more.
When I got the photos developed it was all clear. The gentleman behind me had his hand on Bono's mic and yelled something into it. Bono knocked his glasses off in a struggle to retain the mic and the guy must have tried harming Bono in some way after that. All I know is that the guy was escorted out and I had my best concert moment to date!
