The band put on a superb show! Electric Co. was incredible and Bono sang it with an impassioned voice compared to some other shows I've heard. You couldn't ask for a better encore with its quiet semi-accoustic mood perfectly suited for the events of Hurricane Rita occuring in the Gulf. The First Time was absolutely beautiful and received a tremendous applause for being such an unfamiliar tune for most of the audience.
The only criticism I have of the show is that the middle section Miracle Drug->Bullet dragged a little bit. The new songs are great but I think a different order would help same too with the political trilogy. Pride is in desperate need of a rest as well.
Overall I was extremely impressed with the show and it was definately on par with the Elevation show at the Target Center in 2001.
Keep switching up the setlists and you'll make a lot of us die-hards very happy. :-)
