I've been a loyal U2 fan for a long time. Being from Ireland, I saw and heard U2 long before the rest of the world. But last nights show was simply the worst U2 show I have ever seen. I should say heard! the sound was pathetic, feedback that wasn't sorted out until 4 to 5 songs in. The treble on Edges guitar was way too high. I'm disappointed, U2 are far better than this. It seems though the local paper review was correct, they seem to be above criticism!
The visuals were amazing, but a rock show is about sound also, that seems to be forgotten.
