Exactly what show was Robert attending - or for that matter what type of U2 fan is he? My wife and I hung out behind stage with Deanna (a veteran of 74 U2 shows) and snapped photos as the boys made their entrance. This was our 3rd show of this leg, 4th of the 360 Tour and my 21st U2 concert overall and I was not disappointed for one moment. Yes we were drenched by the rain, but our spirits soared and the music was transcendent.
I savored every moment of this concert because we do not know when or if there will be a next time. Do you think anything on this scale will be attempted by any other band - other than the Rolling Stones in their next pathetic cash grab? Although it's difficult to single out any particular song, I absolutely loved the set list and understand why they chose to drop the bulk of NLOTH.
Overall, what a great event and the U2 community of fans is like no other. Until we meet again.
