What a show. I had a great little group around me of strangers who quickly became pals, and a nice guy working the entrance. The band was ON tonight, but it was interesting to compare seeing the show from the floor to in a seat (I had a GA ticket in DC). The seat people where I was sitting definitely seemed to lose interest/go to the bathroom/sit down during Original of the Species and Miss Sarajevo, and then (somewhat remarkably) during Stuck in a Moment! Yet, the band would quickly get them back on their feet with a great follow-up song. Highlights for me were the back-to-back of Until the End of the World and then Mysterious Ways, as well as Bad and Fast Cars.
The third encore was amazing. I was almost expecting a fourth - we were cheering loud enough for it!
