Great show, great energy, great surprises. The main set was rocking, and the encore was surpisingly acoustic, but just as great. I went to Boston II in the spring, that encore was more rocking than any other on this tour with the Fly, Until the End of the world, Out of Control, and Bad. This encore was the complete opposite, and every bit as good. The First Time (Reprise version from Million Dollar Hotel), Who's Gonna Ride (Temple Bar version from the single), and clsoing with 40 with some other standards in there.
I was suprised at the slower encore since the crowd was so into the show, but I wanted to hear First Time and Wild Horses so I got my way.
Bono had a weeks worth of showboating to do, and he started right from the beginning. A show all his own. One ended with Bono singing MLK with help from the audiece.
Miss Sarajevo is amazing live, but the low tenor notes killed Bono's voice for the next song.
Great Show!!
