The boys were in such good form. Bono's voice was probably the strongest I have heard in years. They were in a playful mood, and you could tell they were more rested than the last time they hit Boston in May 2005. Adam had a great cheeky smile the entire time playing.
The setlist was good, pretty predictable, but good. Highlights: The acoustic version of The First Time was fabulous. And the snippet of MLK was a GREAT surprise. Miss Sarejavo sounded great. The crowd went ABSOLUTELY mad after Streets have no name. It was deafening. Even Bono seemed in awe.
Bono pulled up a girl and danced with her during With or Without you. There was a woman in the audience who was not envious.
Great to see Bono donned in a Red Sox shirt toward the end, and see Larry end the night. Looking forward to their return in December.
