Having been to other Vertigo concerts on the tour, tonight Bono was decidedly off the mark. Right from the outset he came on stage looking either sick or in pain. He lacked alot of the animated moves he usually does in concert, even though he gave a noble try at appearing to be so. The audience also was lackluster, so the energy give-and-take was hardly there. This was definitely not up to par with the best U2 has to offer. Don't get me wrong, I LOVE U2!!! Even their less-than-stellar evenings are better than anyone else's, but this evening, unfortunately, was not one of their best. Get some rest, boys, and BLAST the Garden!
