In May I posted a disallusioned and depressed review of the Boston show I attended. I ended up against the soundboard on the floor. Felt disconnected and disappointed with the show.
OH what a difference a location makes!! The fan club came through with the best seats of my life.
This was show number 10 for me and I lucked out being in the heart last tour several times. This time I was in Loge 14 row 4. Just above the entrance to the Bomb shelter and even with the stage.
Every second of the show was amazing. The band was laughing, joking and rocking out. The added some songs, they screwed some up, and did the same old things. And it was all AMAZING. To be able to see the looks Bono, Adam and Edge exchanged on Crumbs... watching them interact... to see Bonos eyes up close... well it was unreal.
And for the guys who missed the older songs.. well my mom was with me and she wanted to know why they didnt do more of the new songs.... its all relative.
so i was just a tad sad that i missed out on Bad but ya know.... just hearing Bono sing Pavorattis part of MS... Priceless.
MSG here I come!
