I loved the Las Vegas show! This was the most distance I have ever traveled to see U2. I flew in from Alabama. I also got to meet my u2 buddy that I met through Propaganda in 94. The highlight of my experience though, was, I tossed a rose down to Bono when he stepped out. He picked it up, and kissed it. He then walked up the steps and turned and looked at me for a couple of seconds before he turned to begin walking around the stage. He carried the rose with him. I met a girl at the airport who said it looked like he laid it on a speaker. It was so nice how excited other fans were about the rose! I was due a Bono moment!
I loved seeing No Doubt, but I don't fully appreciate anyone opening for u2. The girl that played guitar on stage was wonderful. Bono enjoyed that. The tribute during one made my tears come back. It was very moving.
Everything I went through to get to Las Vegas was worth it!
