I am a regular reader and a first time poster on this forum. This was my 5th elevation tour show and 8th u2 concert overall. I live in Indiana and all of my other shows up till the Las Vegas show have been in Indiana or Illinois. I had quite an adventure getting to the concert. I was supposed to fly out of chicago the night before at 10:00 PM on a red eye flight. On my way to the airport I noticed that fog was consuming the city of Chicago. I continued on to the airport hoping against hope that my flight would still depart. I got checked in, and a little more than an hour later, the flight indeed was cancelled. The airline put me up in a hotel and said to try again in the morning, there was a 10:45 leaving arriving in L.V at approximately 12:30. I thought great still gives me plenty of time to meet up with ETS, as this is who I booked the trip through, at the Hard Rock Cafe. The first flight in the AM got cancelled also. Now it is looking not so good for the concert, I called ETS at the collect number in hopes of getting a hold of someone. They got right back with me and we made arrangements for them to leave the ticket at the will call band window at the Thomas & Mack Center (Thanks ETS !!!!!!!)I ended up leaving Chicago at 5:30 P.M. I managed to get to the hotel and walk over to the Thomas and Mack center in time for about 1/2 of No Doubt's set. I actually made it in time. The U2 concert was the best I have yet to see. The set list was a little different with Sunday Bloody Sunday moved up a little, and the pleasant addition of Wild Honey as well as the snippet of Who's gonna ride your wild horses right before streets. The Thomas and Mack Center is certainly a great place to see a concert. I hope that American Airlines Arena in Miami is just as good as that will be my 6th and final elevation show. Thank you U2 for making my fall. Bravo!!!!!
