I have been to maybe 20 concerts in my life (I'm 20 years old), and this is still the best I've been to yet, and with the exception of my first time to see U2 (6/28/97 in Chicago), it is the most memorable as well.
Firstly, Third Eye Blind came out and played a wonderful set from their debut album (I later saw them headline a show in Macomb, Illinois, which was also great). Stephen Jenkins (lead singer) took the huge PopMart stage head-on, even heading down the catwalk a couple times.
After Third Eye Blind's 1-hour set, there was about a 20-minute intermission for U2 to hit the stage.
The most exciting entrance followed with Edge(in space cowboy outift), Adam (in just a downright over-the-top space outfit), Larry (who hasn't changed his look since 1986), and Bono (in boxing robe gear) walking through the crowd, and came out and did kick-ass performances of "Mofo" and "I Will Follow".
Bono spoke to "stay close to the music and it will tell you what to do" before "I Still Haven't Found What I'm Looking For".
The highlight of the show (other than the moving 40-foot lemon) had to be when Bono brought a fan from the audience, who was dressed as MacPhisto during "Bullet the Blue Sky". This made for a somewhat humorous affair.
The show had the same exact set list as the Mexico City video, and other than the MacPhisto thing was the same thing. I could have watched it a million more times. Cheers to U2.
