Not so much a show as a religious experience. Having been luckly enough to see U2 on a few past occasions, this was up there with the best. The band were at the top of their game, with a terrific stage and light show, supported by a 72,000 crowd that were committed from the first note to dancing, singing, crying and making it a very special night. Bono's message on the G8 summit and Africa was truly admirable, and judging by the response from the crowd in tune with the way a lot of people are thinking. Long may they continue to deliver performances this good. Thanks to the other 71,999 folks who were friends for what was a really wonderful night.
