Just got home - wow!!! Best gig so far in the UK!
Sound was vastly improved over last night. They played Wild Horses, which was a welcome change! All because of you came back in second off the mark. The whole place was rocking, except a group of twats near where I was seated. They had the nerve to ask me to sit down so they could see from their seated position!! I moved away from that section, bugger that!!!
I have never seen with or without you played with as much passion as I did tonight. Bono pulled in snippets of "take me to the clouds above" (LMC vs U2)... Quite nice to snippet a artist who has borrowed your tune! Gotta love U2 for that! Humbling....
I also loved the way Bono sung parts of "London Calling" by The Clash in Vertigo Mark II. This kind of thing made for a special gig!
