Unfortunately I haven’t been able to write a full review yet (hopefully it will come at a later time) but just wanted to put down some random thoughts:
Kings of Leon opening act was lousy and noisy
“Love and Peace or Else” rocks live and sounds wonderful
Early technical problems suffered by Bono and Edge
Hearing live “An Cat Dubh / Into the Heart” was unbelievable
“City of Blinding Lights” sounds like an old time classic
“Running to Stand Still” and “Bad” were remarkably executed
The “Zoo TV” set rocked and the Edge is playing amazingly!!
The acoustic version of “Yawheh” sounds better than the album version
Exiting with “40” was a classic
Larry is really drumming and Adam was very into it
My14th U2 concert ever was as usual a spiritual musical journey of the story of my life of my last 25 years
Slainthe!!!!
