Reading through reviews of last night's show is so interesting to me. I think your experience has a lot to do w/ where you are in the arena. I saw them for both shows in Vancouver last week, and the 28th show was very disappointing. It was still fantastic when compared to shows by other bands, but by U2 standards, the performance of the band was off.
In Chicago, however, I thought the band played perfectly. They were completely tight and had an energy amongst the four of them that transcended into the crowd. I was in the elipse, and the crowd was completely pumped and made the show one of the best I've seen. I've been seeing U2 for over 20 years, and for me this show was one of their best. I loved it!
