Great reviews here already, but I wanted to add that Bono changed the lyrics in "Beautiful Day" (I think?) to "even when you get a bad review" and I haven't seen that mentioned yet.
What struck me about the show is that Bono seemed to be fighting the bad reviews for the first several songs. I was GA that show and he seemed down, hurt feeelings. He kept fighting through it, but it seemed that he wanted to know that the crowd still loved them.
He said at one point that U2 loved Chicago and then he said, "I hope.... I hope...." (clearly about to say "I hope you still love us" but he changed gears and said something about going into the future together.
I thought the night was magical, but I have a hunch May10 might have been less stressful for the lads. Bono had to cast out a demon or two on May 9.
