Unreal. Wow. Perfection at last. Having patiently waited out a really poor performance on Monday evening, I was lifted to unexpected heights by this evening's masterpiece. I have absolutely no clue what was holding them back earlier this week, but the new set list, clearly increased energy and harmonic flow worked flawlessly. They started and never looked back. Out with a song mix that screached forward and then grinded to a halt, say no more to hokey on-stage fan bits and Bono's over-reaching sermons and hello to a fresh, bullish, pounding entertainment experience. I have seen many, many shows, and this was the best "full" performance - all the way through - that I have seen. Perhaps the professional Chicago reviewers media critics who ripped u2 earlier this week should print front page retraction - Bono, Edge, Larry and Adam earned it.
