A fun show - it's nice not knowing what's coming next. A couple of old favorites return and Bad ended the show. It's probably a better closer than 40, which a lot of newer fans seem not to know.
Bono said earlier in the day his throat was sore, and it was a bit evident in his vocals. But he still poured a lot of heart and soul into his performance!
I like Vertigo as the show opener better than COBL or Love & Peace. It's a high-energy kick off and seems to flow better into the rest of the setlist.
Now that they're not filming, the cool lighting using the ad LED strips around the arena and the flashing thingys above the exit signs are gone. It's too bad, I thought they added a lot to the look of the show.
Thanks to the boys for a fabulous week in Chicago!
