Just to clarify...the "Shine Like Stars" verse in WOWY is *NOT* from Joy Division's 'Love Will Tear Us Apart'. On quite a few Joshua/Lovetown dates, Bono DID tag lines from this song on WOWY, but "Shine Like Stars" verse is his own doing, much like the additional verse at the end of live performances of One.
On a side note, Bono did reference Joy Division in this concert, during New York he added lines from Joy Division's 'Transmission'.
I've never heard of any "feuding" between the 2 bands either. U2 has always appreciated Joy Division. New Order, while a great UK band, generally has had a very English view of U2 - too big, commercial, etc. (i.e. jealous and self-righteous).
On the 5/16 show, it was a blast and the setlist was crazy and fun. I'd take the 5/15 show just for 11 O'Clock/Out of Control for sheer stunners, but 5/16 was more polished and showed U2 at or near the top of their game.
