I wasn't going to come to the U2 show this time around--saw them three times in May, that's enough, right? I ended up going by myself which isn't as bad as it may seem. Once U2 gets onstage I tend to ignore the person I'm with.
It was an amazing show, those seats behind the stage aren't too shabby!
Met a really great guy who knew someone who does something for the United Center and he took us to the seats on the floor. I've never been that close to Bono, The Edge, Adam, and Larry, it is certainly a night I will never forget.
The fan who got onstage to play with the guys was very good! The comment Bono made about the fan being the guitarist for the SP was pretty funny.
I was really impressed by the crowd last night. For a moment I stopped looking onstage and looked out to the crowd--I don't think anyone was sitting down. To see everyone on their feet, clapping and singing along is one of the best parts of the show and makes me grateful to be able to share this experience with so many people. U2 is truly the best band in the world because they have the ability like no one else to bring so many people together. All the best. Cat
