U2 performed and transformed the audience in such a positive way that all were left feeling more energized and at the same time filled with "a little more grace" then they had when walking through the doors of the United Center. The opening act;Garbage, was fantastic. I had never heard their music and am looking forward to buying their C.D.
We were seated behing the stage, but it was just fine and "a beautiful day" (night) because Bono remembered all his fans behind him and spent a lot of time singing and cruising around the other side of the heart....
It is so nice to read all these fans reviews of the 10/16/01 concert, especially since the reviews in the Sun Times and the Tribune only focused on the 10/15/01 concert...
The entire band is fantastic and I bet they all are really nice people. This was my 3rd U2 concert. I saw U2 Elevation in Chicago/ United Center in May and there is no comparison. The May concert was great- but this one was a sure stepping stone to even greater music to come. Thank you Bono.
