I have recently become a fan of U2 and loved this concert! It is the first major concert that I have really ever been to. I mean, you can't get many more people than the United Center full of people. I loved the energy of this concert and all their song choices. The members used the stage well and made the show exciting. I bought tickets only the night before the show (online) and I was so phyched to go because I thought that I wasn't going to be able to (this is not an opportunity to miss). I had a seat in the back, which i chose because it was closer to the stage than the front seats. Although we saw Bono's back a lot, he turned around sometimes and the seats were amazing and had a great view (see pictures). The bead/light curtains did block my view a bit at times, but that wasn't too annoying.
The most amazing part of the show visually (other than the stage) was when Bono told everyone to take out their cell phones and we had a bit of the milky way galaxy. I put up the best picture I took.
The songs were amazing, and I heard so many new (for me) U2 songs that are sure to go in the favorites category. Because I only have 2 U2 CDs, I am considering buying The Complete U2. I loved Miss Sarajevo, 40, Fast Cars, Who's Gonna Ride Your Wild Horses, and of course the Vertigo CD songs.
U2 is amazing and I just got the U2 iPod in the mail today!
