Saturday night in Phoenix and another AMAZING concert from my favorite band! This was my 14th time seeing them since the Joshua Tree Tour in 1987, and the first time outside of California. The opening 4 songs packed a powerful punch! Out of Control is a favorite and it was great to hear it live again. The staging was magnificent and the new material. Cedarwood Rd and Iris (Hold Me Close) were technically stunning with Bono interacting with the animation on the large screens. The "E" stage songs were great, hearing full band versions of Angel of Harlem and the tribute to BB King with When Love Comes To Town were excellent. Joshua Tree favorites WOWY and Streets are always amazing as was the anthem One at the end. Thank you Bono, Larry, Adam and Edge! You have given me over 30 years of incredible music, and this NEVER gets old! "Always listen to your Mother"...if only...Innocence and Experience indeed!
