This was my 10th U2 show. They are one of the best live bands ever so even on nights when they are not THEIR best they are still better than most. Last night was great but they seemed a bit flat and the crowd responded in kind (or vice versa - I'm still not sure). I was worried that they might not come back for their first encore - - the crowd went missing. Nevertheless, the set list was wonderful and included songs I've never heard before live(including my favorite U2 song Electric Co.) and the band seemed to really enjoy reaching back to play these classic songs. The new songs were great too. The lights were amazing, the sound so/so, and the staging (e.g. Larry on drums and keyboards on the extended stage)very creative and entertaining. I just wish the energy level was higher. U2 shows have always been very symbiotic - the crowd feeds off the band; the band feeds off the crowd. I left still hungry - I suspect the band felt the same.
