Well, after reading tons of fan reviews from previous shows, I was really geared up for the boys. Made the trip from Virginia with my wife and pals. WOW! Love and Peace is truly amazing live. I'd like to see it be the opener instead of City....although it is a great song in itself.
I thought the sound initially sucked, but got better as the night went on. Maybe it was bad accoustics in the Wacko center.
What can you say about Vertigo. Wow....the stage, the lights, the hysteria....
The Zoo wheel was awesome. Cool to see the Zooropa graphics on the screens. Brought back some nice memories from Zoo TV. The Fly is great live. Edge kicks ass!! Simply put. It was great to hear "40" again, but with the engery in the arena, I thought we'd get Vertigo one last time. Oh well....I'll catch them twice in DC.
Cheers....
