It has been awhile since I've seen a U2 show. I believe it was about 15 years ago. My liking of U2 peaked in the late 80's and I was not really interested in the "Pop Mart" era.But enough of my tangent.
This show started like most of the shows on the tour with "City..." The sound was awesome and the lights and use of the screens really enhanced the show. I was a little diappointed in the lack of use of the elipse. I felt it could have been utilized more.
As far as the set list was concerned, I was surpised to hear Ocean from Boy and not An Cat Dubh. I would have to say my favorite part of the show was Gloria. It was well received song. The energy was high, the choice of songs was great, and the band was tight. It has been too long since I've been to a U2 show and I hope to return to see them again in the fall
