Attended both Philly shows and gave the first one mixed reviews. I liked Brian's and Stinky's reviews. I agree with about 95% of everything written.
This show was definitely better than the first and it was good to see the crowd somewhat more into it but they still could have done better. I admire the guys for a very gutsy, gritty emotional performance after what was obviously an exhausting week. The setlist was better in the middle from the standpoint of sustaining crowd support and emotion.
It didn't hurt that I was sitting on the first row of Section 114 right on the ellipse. Bono at one point stopped right in front of us and was only 10 feet away. It was the best reserved seat in the house.
A fantastic experience all in all. I'm emotionally and physically drained. Thanks U2.
