I went basically to jam in the lot, got a "miracle" free ticket (THANKS!!! Gary woo hoo)
So I'll leave the detailed reviews to others, mainly looking to share these images...
I will say as a Philadelphian, I loved Bono's ongoing between-songs conversation with the city. He recalled how LIVE AID the changed world, U2, and his life personally. It was freaky thinking back 20 years to that concert, while standing in the same place I was that day, only now on the paved-over ruins of JFK Stadium...
Bono mentioned former 76er Dikembe Mutombo, and was treated to a bit of genuine booing... a true Philly moment! He went on however, to praise Mutumbo and his Foundation (dmf.org)
My show took off during Gloria, also loved Sunday Bloody Sunday>Bullet The Blue Sky-- but the bit with the cellphones during One is beyond cheezy.
Anyway, ENJOY!!!
